  As a former United States Marine, Brad has first-hand experience of the military lifestyle. He served from 1992-1996 specializing in anti-terrorism, urban combat, and as a coxswain (drove motorized rubber assault craft).  
     
  Brad is pursuing his PhD in Family Studies with a focus on combat trauma and has completed all coursework and comprehensive exam; All but Dissertation.  
     
  Brad is a published author in the area of combat related post-traumatic growth (PTG)
